By accessing or using BuKeep ("the Service"), operated by BuKeep LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use BuKeep.
BuKeep is an AI-assisted bookkeeping preparation platform that helps users organize receipts, invoices, and financial statements. BuKeep is not an accounting firm, does not provide tax advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed CPA or accountant. The Service is designed to assist with bookkeeping preparation only.
BuKeep uses third-party artificial intelligence services (currently Anthropic's Claude AI) to read, interpret, and extract data from documents you upload, including images, PDFs, and spreadsheets. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to:

Do NOT upload documents containing sensitive personal information, including but not limited to: Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, government-issued identification numbers, health records, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
BuKeep is designed for processing receipts, invoices, and financial statements that contain merchant names, dates, and transaction amounts. BuKeep, BuKeep LLC, and Anthropic (the provider of Claude AI) shall not be held responsible for any damages, losses, or liabilities resulting from the upload of sensitive or prohibited data. You assume all risk associated with the documents you choose to upload.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. BuKeep reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
BuKeep offers various subscription plans with different document processing limits and AI credit allocations. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise specified by your plan. We reserve the right to modify pricing and plan features with reasonable notice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUKEEP LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BuKeep LLC from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your upload of prohibited content.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. We retain audit logs and anonymized usage data for operational purposes.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
